tumse jo dekhte hi pyar hua - patthar ke phool

Today's Postng is a hip hop song by our Guruji & Lata Mangeshkar from 1991 movie Patthar Ke Phool. All songs of this film are classics. This album is my favourite after "Maine pyar Kiya"

Our Guruji has sung keeping pace with the skating in presto. He intones bubbling glee to surprise Raveena with his talents. SPB and Lata duo bring about vivace to this superhit song in unison. Music composer is Raam-Laxman.

Movie Name: Patthar Ke Phool
Music Director: Raam Laxman
Lyrics: Ravinder Rawal
Year: 1991
Actors: Salman Khan & Raveena Tandon
Singer: S.P.Balasubrahmaniyam & Lata Mangeshkar

LYRIC:

Tumse jo dekhte hi pyar hua zindagi mein pehli baar hua
Tum itne din thi kaha main dhoondhta hi raha
Kaha?
Kabhi linking Road, kabhi warden road, kabhi cadell road, kabhi Pedal Road

Kitne kuche galiya chaani mere dil ne ek na mani
Kaha kaha par tujhko dhoondha tere liye main hui deewani
Phir bhi na tera deedar hua yaar mere aisa kahi baar hua
Are tum itne din thi kaha main dhoondhta ta hi raha
Kaha?
Kabhi turner road, kabhi carter road, kabhi churney road, kabhi Arthur road

Prem paheli aisi uljhi zor lagaya par na suljhi
Pyar pe koi zor nahi hai dil mein koi aur nahi hai
Tere liye dil bezaar hua yaar mere aisa kahi baar hua
Are tum itne din thi kaha main dhoondta hi raha
Kaha?
Kabhi berey road, kabhi parley road, kabhi meera road, ghodbander road

Uparwale ki hai maya usne humko khoob milaya
Bhule bhatke aaj mile hai dekho kitne phool khile hai
Jane do jo ab tak yaar hua milte hi ab ikraar hua
Chalte hai dono waha mat pooncho ab tum kaha
Par kahan?
Linking road
kabhi warden road
dunkin road
lamington road
cadell road
kabhi pedal road
churney road
kabhi Arthur road
turner road
kabhi carter road

Vikas, thank you very much for this song in which HIS voice jives to a bebop.

A thing of beauty is joy for ever.
A note from HIS voice is pleasant for ever.

Dear Vikas,

I had seen this song on TV many years back and loved it. Especially, his voice adds beauty to the name of all the roads that he sings out- the way he renders by rolling the words in his mouth. GREAT. REALLY SUPERB. I love him for that. Even the names of roads are blessed to be rendered in his voice.
